Home Fire Safety Visits
When it comes to protecting our community from fire, prevention has always been the key to success. This is why we are passionate about getting out into the community and making sure everyone is equipped for success.
A large percentage of fatal house fires that occur each year in New Zealand, are found to have no smoke alarms, or smoke alarms which are either not working or not correctly installed.
At the very minimum, a home should have one working smoke alarm installed in the hallway near the bedrooms. For more advice on smoke alarms and their placement, click here.
Our service is free within the Feilding Community and we will talk to you about the best smoke alarms to buy in order to ensure you and your family have the greatest chance of survival should the worst occur.
