Brigade Fundraiser

Bingo

For decades now, the Feilding Volunteer Fire Brigade has hosted a Bingo (previously named Housie) night weekly on a Monday, which has attracted a lot of support previously in years gone by. The funds raised have been used for a range of things including helping brigade competition teams enter events, larger fundraising projects such as Leukemia and Blood Cancer, the purchase of the Fire Brigade Van and vital operational equipment including defibrillators etc.

About Bingo and How to Play

Bingo, formally known as Housie is a great opportunity to meet new people within the community and have fun while you do it. –  There is also a good chance you’ll come home with some extra cash!

Every Monday night at the Feilding Fire Station. – Doors open at 6.30pm and gameplay commences at 7.30pm sharp.

There are multiple games available throughout the night, with the main event being the standard Bingo.

Players will purchase a Bingo playing card upon arrival and this will last throughout the night for a total of 40 games of Bingo.

This playing card has multiple random numbers printed on it. An automated voice will call numbers at random and each time one of the called numbers matches a number printed on your card, you can eliminate that number by placing a counter on it. Once you have eliminated all the numbers on your card, you can call “BINGO!” indicating to the other players that you have won the game and the gameplay will stop.

You can play as many cards at the same time as you like.

TENO

TENO is similar to Bingo, however it is played on a separate card throughout the night in conjunction with standard Bingo. At the start of the night, 10 TENO numbers are called. Following this, when BINGO is called on a standard game, the number that it was called on is used on your TENO card.

SUPER HOUSE

Super house is again similar to Bingo, however there is only one game played and the payout is much larger. Super House is played straight after supper. With both Super House and TENO, you can also call a line, as well as the full house.
